If you’ve read any of my other Karity reviews, you already know that I am a fan of this brand. But not every brand has 100% top notch products in every area. This primer was a let down. Let me start with packaging. It is sleek and gorgeous. The cap is flat so you can stand it upright, it has a squeeze tube which makes it easier to get all the primer out of and doe foot applicator. However I feel that to much product comes out on the doe foot, which is to big in my opinion.
I feel like a little doesn’t go a long way, but you don’t have to use an exorbitant amount, it’s longevity is average. The application with the doe foot applicator is fairly easy. Usually when using a doe foot you’d swipe the product on, but in this case you have t dot on only a little a use your finger to spread it out.
The real bummers are in the wear and effectiveness. First of all I felt the product was hydrating but it is also pretty oily and greasy. It made my lids shiny for sure. This likely contributed to it breaking down my shadow, creasing and not doing much to make my shadows stay all day long. It was better than no primer at all, but not even my favorite budget option on the market.I’d skip this if I were you.
