2017 has been one for the books. My best friend married my brother in law (pictures on the left – and YES I did her hair but not her makeup). It was an amazing day! I also enjoyed several trips to Las Vegas with my husband. His oldest brother lives there and we go for weekend trips to spend time with his family and children regularly. I have done the hair and makeup of over 50 brides this year! My work was published in one magazine and I had a big move to a new salon location! I have enjoyed my first few months at Just Your Style Salon in Spanish Fork and I am excited to learn more and grow here.

2017 is the first year in the last six years where I didn’t move! Woo! I got all of my Christmas decorations up by November 1st (yes – I am one of “those people”) and I had the most beautiful Christmas tree this year that I have ever had! This year I also got a brand new Nephew named Oliver and a brand new tattoo to commemorate my career (pictured on the right).

My little sister Hannah also got married (and I did both her hair and makeup) and I got an amazing new brother in law Caleb (they are pictured on the left too)! I also enjoyed a lot of family dinners and board games, a lot of jokes and tears. I have had a wonderful year and I am excited for the prospects that 2018 brings. I have a lot of goals, and I am making my vision board tomorrow! I am a big believer in vision boards. Every time I make one there is a noticeable difference in how many of my goals I stick to and achieve. This year some of my goals include reading my scriptures more, loosing 50 pounds, and going on three trips with my husband (that AREN’T all just to see our family in Vegas). What are some of your goals and plans for 2018?
