Shade Range – 4 (very good)

Overall:

I know, two Urban Decay product reviews in a row! I am currently seeking my new Foundation Bestie so a lot of foundation reviews are coming your way. I want to preface this by saying that I have fairly neutral medium toned skin and my skin is as dry as can possibly be. So what works for me, might not work for you especially if your skin is oily combination.

The packaging is gorgeous, I expect no less from Urban Decay at this point. They always have beautiful packaging. It is sturdy, functional and pretty. It is a full coverage foundation for sure. I did shear it out once with moisturizer and it was still pretty full coverage. The texture refers to if it is clumpy or if it blend in nicely. It wasn’t clumpy at all, but I did feel like it was kind of cakey. It didn’t matter if I used a SiliSponge, Beauty Blender, Foundation Brush or my fingers. When I did use my fingers it was very streaky, I HAD to use a beauty blender to pat it in after any other application method. The shade range was standard, but they do have lots of undertone options so that bumps it up from a 3 to a 4.

The mark it got low was moisture. I did return this foundation because after 1 week of wearing it my skin was flaking, pealing, and just awful in general. It dried it out so much! I fyou have oily skin you may love it but dry skinned gals beware!
