REVIEW: Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream

Packaging - 6 (unbelievable)
Scent - 3 (average)
Hydration - 4 (very good)
Smoothing - 4 (very good)
Longevity - 5 (excellent)
Overall:

Living Proof's products are all sulfate free, paraben free and silicone free. they are a more natural hair care line that isn't full of chemicals. This product has some of the best packaging I have seen in a long time! Silly I know, but the packaging is clean, simple and efficient (like the products). The lid "pops" up so you can squeeze out the product, but also easily screws off in case you need a lot for some reason (or if you just prefer that kind of application). The cap is also completely flat, so you can easily stand this product upside down, allowing it to trickle towards the lid when it is getting low. One top of that the bottle is made out of a sturdy rubber (not a cheap plastic) that doesn't break easily and is easy to squeeze.

Now that I have my packaging obsession out of the way, the product is very hydrating for your hair (the kind of hydrating you can feel throughout the day), and does add softness and smoothness to the hair. It can be used on damp hair, or dry hair and a little goes a long way because it isn't full of fillers! It isn't strong enough for people with super thick, frizzy and rebellious hair, however it is perfect for fine and normal hair types! The biggest downside? The smell. Some people love it, I am not one of those people. I use the product regardless, however to me it smells really earthy and tart. It is comparable to fresh cut grass, but not quite there. Anyways, not my favorite scent, but a lot of people love it!

REVIEW: Clear Clinic Laboratories Vanished Clear Spot Treatment

Packaging - 3 (average)
Scent - 0 (horrible)
Hydration - 0 (horrible)
Ingredients - 2 (not very good)
Effect - 1 (bad)
Overall:

I'm not sure how much more I could dislike this product. I got a big old zit on my chin. I continued to use my normal cleansing regimen and swapped out my usual spot treatment (that usually works within 3 days) for this one. I used this on my zit 3 times a day for 5 days and nothing changed! It was just as big, red and disgusting as ever. It has very boring and drugstore-esque packaging. It smells AWFUL. It leaves your skin feeling dry and is not a good option for sensitive skin at all. The ingredients I could find in it were basically alcohol variants. Overall, not a good product.

Korean Sheet Masks

Korean Sheet Masks have been everywhere recently including on talk shows (like Ellen and The Fab Life) and the internet. K Beauty trends (Korean Beauty trends) have been making a huge splash in America. It is estimated that Korea is ahead of the rest of the world by about 5 years when it comes to innovation in their cosmetics and skin care. So when people become obsessed with these little K Beauty secrets, I always pay attention! A recent one, is Korean Sheet Masks.

Why do they work better?
The idea is that a regular mask dries or hardens after a short period of time, and after it has hardened the beneficial ingredients either slow their effects or stop completely. A sheet mask can use a potent gel or cream serum that the mask has been fully submerged in for months. When you put the sheet on it keeps the serum wet so that the ingredients work as long as you need them too!

Which one should I get?
when it comes to these masks, there are hundreds of options, at all different price ranges. I tried 6 different brands; Tony Moly, Leaders, Kalahari, Benton, Karuna and Masque Bar. I found there were a few things that mattered to me when it came to these masks. I needed something that smelled good, that the effects lasted a long time after using, and the mask stayed on my face comfortable. There were a couple of these brands that I was constantly adjusting the mask on my face, it kept sliding and it was so big that the eye holes didn't really match up well and it was harder to use. The Karuna brand was the worst mask in the bunch as far as structure.

I will say that I used the hydration masks for each of these brands (because my skin is so dry it flakes, and I could see the results instantly and retally measure them). While my findings may not be true of every single mask they carry I will say I have a favorite! Not only was my chosen mask the easiest to wear, and the best constructed mask in the group, the effects lasted about 1 week, it smells great and it is the least expensive in the bunch! I am obsessed with the Tony Moly Aloe Moisture sheet mask! You can buy it online or at Ulta Stores int he United States.

REVIEW: Living Proof Control Hairspray

Packaging - 4 (very good)
Scent - 3 (average)
Hold - 5 (excellent)
Texture - 6 (incredible)
Dry Time - 6 (incredible)
Longevity - 5 (excellent)
Overall:

Can I just say best firm hold hairspray EVER! This is my newest go-to product! I am in love! The packing is nice and clean, but there is nothing super special about it. I must say I am not a fan of the scent. Living Proof products are all sulfate free, paraben free, silicone free and is more natural, so most of their stuff smells earthy and crisp. However this smells like an aerosol spray. Since they don't add artificial fragrances it doesn't have a scent to cover up the not-so-pleasant smells associated with aerosol products, however it is WORTH IT!

Now that I have gotten the few downsides out of the way let me tell you why this is a five start product! This product dries almost instantly, which means the hair doesn't clump together or get sticky.  Yet it still has the hols of a firm hold hairspray! Yay! Without all of those fillers a little goes a long way, but this is the first high hold hairspray that I feel has a "touchable" quality (hence the texture rating). Even thought there is some stiffness in the hair it is movable and you can still run your fingers through it. I love that! I definitely recommend this one!

REVIEW: Uniq One All in One Treatment

Packaging - 4 (very good)
Scent - 5 (excellent)
Longevity - 5 (excellent)
Heat Protection - 4 (very good)
Conditioning - 5 (excellent)
Overall:

This is your new best friend! I will start off with the packaging. I personally don't love the look, I think it's a little cheap, but the color combos are nice and it has a spray nozzle which is a huge plus! You can buy this product in two scents, original (which smells like a light perfume) and Coconut. A little goes a super long way, which obviously is great for the pocket book. It does protect your hair from the sun and the heat form a blow dryer, although you will want something stronger for hot tools. It also adds a ton of softness and shine without a greasy look! It's seriously the perfect deep conditioner. Although if you have super fine or thin hair I recommend the Healthy Sexy Hair Soya Want It All 22-in-1 Treatment instead!

REVIEW: COOLA Mineral Sunscreen

Packaging - 4 (very good)
Scent - 5 (excellent)
Finish - 5 (excellent)
Weight - 5 (excellent)
Protection - 5 (excellent)
Overall:

I am IN LOVE with this mineral sunscreen! I kid you not it is the best I have ever used! It is %100 odorless. I know I gave it a 5 on the scent, but that is because I love that it is odorless! Most Sunscreen smells awful (you know the smell they all have) but not this one! It's lack of added scents also makes it suitable for people with sensitive skin. It is perfect for the face. It is also weightless almost instantly. It doesn't make your face look shiny or oily and it has SPF 30 (the recommendation for your face is 15)! It does have a slight tint and claims to work as a BB cream of sorts, while I am not so sure about that (it doesn't have any other benefits than sunscreen and it provides no coverage) it is an AMAZING sunscreen! There are no cons to this product for me!
